About Her
I am a nice person who enjoys life. I like to try to encourage others to feel the same. I like to make a difference to the lives of the people around me.
I am a Christian, although I haven't been to church since the start of the pandemic, ( I am back at church now!) but have seen and felt God in many ways during this time, I believe God is with me all the time and his love never fails me.
I love being in my garden pottering around, I have created a little pond and have grown some amazing sunflowers and managed to grow more this year from the seeds! These days I would rather spend a day in my garden than in the shops!
I enjoy being with family and friends, sharing meals and celebrations together. I hope to make others feel welcome and safe when in my company. I have a little dog which is very spoilt and is a perfect excuse for a walk in the countryside or along the coast!
I am not into sport or a fitness fanatic, I would rather have a nice meal whilst watching the boats from a harbour on the coast, which I love to be near.
I confess to watching the soaps on T.V., it beats using them to wash up! I possibly watch more T.V. than is good for me but don't most of us if we are honest? I enjoy listening to music, from Tina Turner to John Denver, not too keen on the modern sounds thu'. I have a go at writing a bit poetry and attempt crosswords etc.
I love to see hot air balloons floating above my chimney, a reminder that summer is upon us, trees in blossom or full leaf but golden or brown as beautiful as the colours are they make me feel sad as Autumn approaches bringing the cold and darkness of winter of which I'm not so keen. My favourite song is, What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.
Freedom to be me is also important to me, to which we should aspire, differences are great but common ground is equally good. I hope if you are reading this you will like what you've read and get in touch so we can learn some more on life's journey.
