About Him
Unless one gives me a reason, it is otherwise my fundamental principle, to respect everyone and expect the same back. This is a time consuming exercise and would appreciate anyone looking for a short or temporal relationship to avoid me. Ideally I am looking for someone over 55 (the closer to my age the better). I am more interested in the long term someone to share the rest of my life with.
I am a protestant but not a Bible bashing christian, however, I would ideally like someone who is inclined to the christian faith enjoy hymns in particular and discussions.
A true friend is not easy to come by, and that is why I will do my best to offer everything humanly possible to keep one. In times of setbacks it would be nice to have a partner with whom together can handle it with deportment. If at all possible resolve the differences before the following day, appreciating and respecting divergent viewpoint and not being dramatic about it.
I have an eclectic taste in music and art. I like classical, rhythm and blues, jazz, sound tracks, opera, African music etc, etc but not a fan of heavy metal.
I like ballads and have sang a few (including The Holy City) at church, friends' weddings and other events. I listen to anything from Mendelssohn, Handel, Acker Bilk Celine Dion, Nat King Cole, Richard Clayderman to Bob Marley, Hugh Masekela and Mariam Makeba - to mention a few.
An avid fan of graffiti art (although not at all cost) I also like ethnic, abstract and geometric art.
I like practising the culinary arts and the occasional entertaining. I'd love to be in the kitchen with my partner.
